Inspiring you to live the journey, not just the destination.
Our programs are led by some of the most respected sailors in the Mini Transat community — Federico Waksman, Albi Riba, and Djemila Tassin.
Each of them brings first-hand experience from the Atlantic, the storms, the strategy, and the solitude that define this legendary race.
Briefings Pre-Departure
Every day begins with focused briefings: weather analysis, navigation planning, and safety drills. We prepare you mentally and technically before setting sail.
Mini 6.50 preparation
Maneuvers Training
Once at sea, the classroom becomes the ocean itself. Every maneuver is an opportunity to turn knowledge into instinct: trimming sails to harness shifting winds, plotting courses with precision, and managing the vessel as if you were truly alone.
Through progressive solo navigation challenges, you'll not only sharpen your technical seamanship but also cultivate the calm focus and resilience required when conditions change without warning.
Each exercise is designed to build confidence under real conditions, preparing you for the unpredictable rhythm of life offshore
Offshore Training
During offshore training, you won’t be alone in your journey. While you sail further from the safety of the coast, our team remains on shore, closely monitoring your progress through advanced tracking and communication systems.
Weather updates, performance feedback, and safety oversight provide a constant link between land and sea.
You’ll face the realities of long passages — fatigue, shifting conditions, and the challenge of self-reliance — but always with the reassurance that expert eyes are guiding and supporting you from afar.
This balance of independence at sea and mentorship on land ensures that every mile you sail becomes a step toward true ocean readiness.
De-Briefing
Back on shore, the day doesn’t simply end — it transforms into learning, with fotos, videos and track analysis.
Together, we carefully review your performance, breaking down every maneuver and decision to understand not just what you did, but why.
Through guided discussion and expert feedback, you’ll uncover strengths to build upon and pinpoint areas for growth.
Each session concludes with a set of clear, personalized takeaways, ensuring that every challenge faced at sea becomes a stepping stone toward mastering the art of solo ocean sailing
Weather training for the Mini Transat goes far beyond reading forecasts — it’s about mastering the ocean’s language.
Our program teaches you how to interpret GRIB files, satellite imagery, and routing models specifically for the unique challenges of the Mini 6.50.
You’ll practice anticipating weather systems days in advance, making tactical decisions under pressure, and adapting when conditions shift faster than predicted.
From understanding trade winds and squalls to managing storm fronts in the Bay of Biscay, every module is designed to prepare you for the realities of solo transatlantic racing. By the end, you won’t just follow the weather — you’ll sail ahead of it.
